Squarespace Template Policy

When you purchase a Squarespace Template, you will receive a link to accept the template as a new website, this template will not be added to an existing website unless you purchase an Install or Implementation Package add-on.

Your purchased template will be delivered to your Squarespace account within two business days. While we will always do our best to have your template sent within two business days, please understand that this timeframe may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances and although unlikely, we can’t guarantee that it won’t take longer. Please submit a support ticket if it has been over TWO BUSINESS DAYS. Please note that there may be a delay on this time frame over the weekend/holidays.

Once the template is added to your account, it is no longer associated with Solstice Collective LLC and is your responsibility to add your own content, edit the site, and maintain it. If you make any accidental changes to the template we cannot come back into the site and reverse them.

A purchase of a Template includes your chosen template sent to you only once:

Each template license is valid for one website. Multiple websites require additional licenses.

If you make any accidental changes to your template and want the template sent again, or, if you don’t accept the invitation to your new template within 6 months of purchase and your free trial expires, then you will have to repurchase the template so we can prepare and send it again. Once delivered, the template becomes your responsibility. We cannot reverse accidental changes.

Your template will come into your account on a free trial. If you let this free trial run out, Squarespace will mark your website for deletion. If your website gets deleted and you want the template resent to you, you will have to repurchase the template so we can prepare and send it again. Avoid letting your trial run out by asking Squarespace support for a trial extension, or upgrading your site to a paid plan.

If you purchase a Website + Sales Page together, we will send them together as one website, unless you contact us prior and request otherwise. Please note that your Sales Page will look slightly different than the demo as the Sales Page will take on the design settings of the Website Template (eg fonts, colors, spacing, etc).

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the Services provided and the extensive time and effort that goes into the service(s), product(s), and/or program(s), the Company offers no refunds or exchanges, and there is no refund policy whatsoever for any and all of the products or services we offer.  We cannot issue refunds after the purchase is made. Please be sure to review the template demos and features, the FAQs, and requirements prior to purchasing.

We do not tolerate or accept any type of chargeback from Client's credit card company or bank.

If you have any template-specific questions, please contact us before you purchase. Again, Due to the digital nature of our products and services, refunds are not offered. Please review template demos, FAQs, and requirements before purchasing.

Support Policy

We are happy to help you with issues relating to the template itself, the install/build/implement, the downloads, the provided files + any problems that might arise with these. 

Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to help with general Squarespace-related questions, template modifications, coding modifications and/or any problems that might arise from them, or any problems you are having with software.

Our support is focused on template-specific questions. General Squarespace inquiries, custom coding, or software issues are beyond our scope. We offer support via email (hello@solstice-collective.com) and we aim to respond within Two business days.

Install/Implementation Policy (+ Add-ons)

(Only applicable if you have purchased one of our Squarespace Template Install/Implementation packages.)

This install/implementation service will transfer your chosen Squarespace Template(s) into your existing Squarespace website.

We will always do our best to have your template installed within one week, but please understand that this time frame may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances and although unlikely, we can’t guarantee that it won’t take longer. Please submit a support ticket if it has been over one week and you are waiting for an Installation/Implementation. Please note that there may be a delay on this time frame over the weekend/holidays.

Once the template is installed into your website, it is no longer Solstice Collective llc’s, and is your responsibility to add your own content, make edits to the site, and maintain it. If you make any accidental changes to the template we cannot come back into the site and reverse them.

While we are on your site we will do our best to not disturb any of your existing content, but we cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event of any issues or glitches during our install/implementation process that may result in the removal or disruption of your existing content.

Solstice Collective LLC reserves the right to decline or cancel any installation/implementation at any time. In the event of an installation/implementation order being canceled, Solstice Collective LLC will refund the full amount of the Install/Implementation service. However, we cannot refund you or your business for the Squarespace Template purchased in conjunction with this order.

Copyright + Licensing Policies

Squarespace Website Templates:

Each Website Template purchase may be used for one project/website only (for example: one Squarespace Template purchase = one Website). If you want to build multiple websites with the same template, you must purchase it again for another license. Multiple projects require additional licenses. No exceptions.

Squarespace Sales Page Templates:

Each Sales Page Template purchase may be used for one project/business only, but you can reuse the templates as many times as you want to within the one project/business.

Social Media Templates:

Each template pack purchase may be used for one project/business only, but you can reuse the templates as many times as you want to within one project/business.

Font Licensing:

Ensure you have valid licenses for any custom fonts used on your website. You confirm you own a Webfont license for the font that is used for your branding and website if you choose to upload it to your website. Solstice Collective LLC uses license-free fonts supplied by Squarespace on all website templates and is not liable for any fonts you may upload in the future. Please refer to the company in which you’ve purchased the font from for their terms, conditions, and licensing agreements. Or refer to your branding company.

By purchasing a template, you agree that:

If you are using the template to build a design for a client, you are prohibited from claiming or promoting these designs as solely your own.

You may not resell the design or claim the design as your own. 

By using this template, you agree to keep the following attribution visible on your website’s footer: “Website Template by: Solstice Collective” with a link to our website: www.solstice-collective.com -

You may not share the template, graphics, files, or any design elements provided in your purchase with anyone else.

Any photography provided with the template is for demonstration purposes only and is copyrighted to its original creator. You must replace these photographs with your own/source images yourself. We hold no liability for any image licensing/copyright issues that may occur through your unlawful use of the supplied images. Use of provided images is for demonstration purposes only. Replace them with your own licensed images.

The design is copyrighted by Solstice Collective LLC and Solstice Collective LLC owns the rights to all designs and files (excluding any photography and pre-made graphics in Canva) included in your purchase and design.

Your completed website design may be used in our template showcase, proposals, onboarding materials, sales pages, or on our social media for demonstration and promotion purposes. We reserve the right to showcase completed websites using our templates.

Miscellaneous Important Notes

Please note that due to the design limitations of Canva, there may be some slight differences between the original template Photoshop graphics and the Canva graphics, and, some design elements provided in the Canva templates might not be as customizable as they would be in Photoshop. Canva may have limitations compared to Photoshop, especially for complex designs. In most cases, there’s little to no difference and almost all elements are completely customizable. If this is a concern for you, please contact us with the specific template you are enquiring about, and we can tell you exactly what differences or limitations there may be. Depending on the template, you may need to upgrade to 'CAnvaPro' (a paid version of Canva) for the best results.

You will need a Squarespace subscription and you may need Photoshop/Canva to use these templates. Please read each template description carefully to see what is needed for that particular template. Some templates may only require a basic subscription. Solstice Collective LLC is not responsible for upgrading your Squarespace subscription. This is done on your end while launching your website and making it Public.

You have lifetime access to the templates, but we can’t guarantee lifetime updates to the content. If the template has been retired/removed from the store, it will no longer be updated. While we strive to provide updates, retired templates may not receive ongoing support.
